General rules

A random number is chosen from 1 through 100. You have to guess if the next random number is lower, equal to or higher than the current number. You can keep guessing, as long as you keep being correct. The turn goes to the next player on a wrong answer.

Each correct guess gives you 1 point. At the end of your turn, you have to give sips away equal to your correct guesses.

There is 1 exception regarding correct guesses. Once you correctly guess "same", you choose a player to down the remainder of their drink, and you also get to give away 1 sip for the correct answer (after a faulty guess).

Whenever you may give away 10 sips, you can choose to also give away a shot instead of 10 sips.

Before the game starts, you can choose to end the game after a chosen amount of rounds, or after a chosen amount of points is reached. You can also choose to let the game run for infinity.

A player their points can go in the negatives.

At the end of the game, the player with the most amount of points, wins.

Make sure to mix your drink accordingly, you will NOT survive if you don't.

Items

Next to just guessing a number, the game includes items you can buy for points. These items vary in cost, based on how powerful they are (from 5 to 20). You can buy items in the bottom right menu. The game includes the following items:

Error Eraser (5 points)
Description: For once, you can act like a wrong answer didn't happen
What does it exactly do?: This item gives you another chance if you give a faulty guess. The number doesn't change. You basically just get a redo.

Power Pint (5 points)
Description: Gain 15 points, but take 10 sips
What does it exactly do?: The description explains it pretty well, you drink 10 sips, and gain 10 points in exchange. Be careful, those sips can really add up.

Group Gift (? points)
Description: Every player gains 2 points
What does it exactly do?: All players gain 2 points. Can be great when working in alliances, or when trying to form alliances. The cost of this item equals 2 times the amount of players in the game.

Minor Mute (8 points)
Description: A player of choice can't buy items their next turn
What does it exactly do?: Choose a player. this player cannot buy items from the item shop the next time it's their turn. Any other way of gaining items is not restricted.

Score Suppressor (8 points)
Description: Limits another player to earn no more than 5 points their next turn
What does it exactly do?: The chosen player can't earn more than 5 points their next turn. After reaching a score of 5, they can keep guessing, but their score won't go up anymore. They also cannot give more than 5 sips at the end of their turn.

Double Dose (10 points)
Description: All players drink double the next round
What does it exactly do?: All players have to drink twice the amount they usually would. This also includes sips from items and events.

Time Thief (10 points)
Description: Choose a player that has to skip their next turn
What does it exactly do?: The chosen player can't do anything, they can't guess, thus no points. They also cannot buy or use items. It's the next player their turn immediately.

Toxic Tribute (10 points)
Description: Give one shot to a player
What does it exactly do?: Choose a player that has to drink a shot. Like explained at Double Dose, this stacks with double drinking, so choose wisely when to use this.

Sip Shield (15 points)
Description: Protect yourself from drinking until your next turn
What does it exactly do?: Makes you immune to drinking. Nobody can give their sips to you anymore. This also includes items and event penalties. This item can not stack, so after using this, you can use it again when it's your turn the next time.

Item Intruder (15 points)
Description: Steal a random item from a player of choice
What does it exactly do?: The description explains it perfectly

Glitch Gamble (15 points)
Description: Swap points with a random player (1 use)
What does it exactly do?: Description explains it perfectly. Watch out, this item can only be USED once (per player), meaning you can still buy it after being used once.

Shield Shredder (15 points)
Description: Disable a person's Sip Shield
What does it exactly do?: You can only use this item on a person with Sip Shield active. It completely removes their shield, meaning the player can be given sips again.

Position Potion (15 points)
Description: Swap turn position with a player of choice
What does it exactly do?: This item changes the turn order of you, with another player. If a game contains 4 people, and you are first to play, and swap with the last player, it means after your turn it's the next round. Perfect for manipulating rounds for when you really hate some events for example. So doing it the other way around can also extend the length of a round.

Chance Chaser (20 points)
Description: 10% chance to double your total points
What does it exactly do?: Exactly as the description describes. I'd watch out with ending the game based on points. It might go really REALLY bad...

Match modifier (20 points)
Description: Add one custom rule to the game
What does it exactly do?: Enables the "Add rule" button in the custom rules menu (the icon with the ruler and pencil). You can add a rule during your turn. When the turn goes to the next player, the button disables again. The rules added here have to be manually enforced, and don't track sips taken.

Events

There are also events in the game. After each guess, right or wrong, there is a 5% chance an event will trigger. Make sure to check the game history (top right menu) to not miss any.

Events come in different categories. The categories are:

AUTOMATIC: These events you will have to look in the game history for. They don't require manual labour and their effect will automatically take place.

BATTLE: These events will display a popup menu where you have to choose the loser of the battle.

PENALTY: By right clicking (or holding a tap on mobile) a player in the top left menu, a popup menu will show, where you can click an active penalty event. After clicking, the penalty is added to the player their total sips taken.

The following events exist:

Time Loop (AUTOMATIC)
What is it?: The current player gets another turn. Differs from the Error Eraser item, because you will lose your score.

What is it?: All players with 2 or more items, drink 3 sips.

Target Locked (AUTOMATIC)
What is it?: This is a fun one. A random player will become the target until the next round. This means that they will have to drink twice their usual amount. Having Double Dose active, this means the target has to drink 4 times, for items and events alike!

Vulture (AUTOMATIC)
What is it?: If a player scores 0 points this round, the top player steals 5 points from them.

Underdog Uprising (AUTOMATIC)
What is it?: Everyone skips their turn once, except for the player with the lowest amount of points. Differs from Time Loop, because a round will go by.

Blackout (AUTOMATIC)
What is it?: The current number and new number become "?" until the next round. This will make gambling extra hard.

Lucky Number (AUTOMATIC)
